Less waiting about

The engineers have spent a few weeks fiddling with the machinery. As a result, pages arrive sooner, menus stop dawdling and hopping from one section to the next takes hardly any time. Nobody will throw a parade, but several members have mentioned it, which is high praise round here.

A tidy batch of new titles has been shelved this month, spread over a number of categories. More are queued up behind them. Anyone who has not dropped by in a while might fancy a wander through the latest additions.

Kinder to small screens

It turns out most of you read us on a phone, so we gave the key screens a proper rethink. Buttons are easier to hit, pages are less cramped and the menu no longer feels like it was squeezed in as an afterthought. Use whatever device you like. It ought to behave.

Much of what is described above began life as a polite email from a member. We read all of them, usually with a cup of tea, and a good few have turned into actual changes. Do carry on writing. It is the best map we have.
